The World’s Only Operational Lego Car
December 19, 2013Steve Sammartino came up with an idea one day. Build a car out of Legos. Whether he was smoking ganja at the time or not will remain a mystery, but after 500,000 Legos, lots of money, and I’m assuming glue, The Super Awesome Micro Project was complete.
The life-sized Lego car consists of four, air-powered, orbital engines and 256 pistons that can rocket the car up to 25mph, with two adults in tow.
That might not seem like much, but keep in mind that a man just built a car out of something a baby was slobbering on a week ago. Also, I don’t even want to see what a high-speed Lego crash report looks like.
The report shall read, “driver should have used Duplos.”
Sammartino is based out of Australia, but the Lego car was built-in Romania by a super genius. I don’t know his name, so we’ll settle on Jimmy Neutron.
