Sea Harrier Jet For Sale. I’ll Take Two.

I know that when I’m itching to spend 1.5 million dollars, I often wonder if anyone has a used fighter jet for sale. Well, my dreams have come true with the 1986 Sea Harrier FA2 Jump Jet popping up on the market. It’s formerly from the Royal Navy Fleet and is currently stationed in Canada, awaiting your arrival.

Although The Sea Harrier was retired from active duty with the Royal Navy in 2006, it is still used for training purposes, and is also currently in use with the Indian Navy.

The jet comes fully equipped with a Rolls-Royce Pegasus MK107 engine, the latest and greatest in the line of Pegasus jet engines. At 700+ miles an hour, it will make the most time efficient grocery-store-getter in history. So, what makes a jump jet, a jump jet? Well, kids, one of the distinguishing factors of a jump jet is vertical thrusters, which make it possible for the jet to hover, much like a helicopter, or UFO.

It can also take off from shorter than normal runways.

This would be the second military Harrier owned by a civilian in the world. The first one is own and flown by Art Nalls, CEO of Nalls Aviation.

The initial sticker price of the Sea Harrier, 18-million. This one in particular is not air worthy just yet, and hasn’t been flown since 2001. It also comes with a parts donor extra fuselage and another Harrier cockpit that can be used for display or the basis of a simulator.

I’m pretty sure before you take it out for a spin, you’ll need to take the missiles off, the government probably doesn’t want you flying over your neighborhood with a sidewinder.
