The lines, cuts, and materials are all reminiscent of a classically cool time, when your bike was your social prowess. There was no Facebook or Twitter.

If you wanted to see your buddy across town, well, you raced across town.

I’ve always been fascinated with the cafe racer lifestyle. I think the time period  represents more purity than today’s counter-culture. People weren’t trying to be awesome, they just were by default. And that’s what Moto Pgh accomplishes, unwarranted awesomeness with rebellious undertones.

Adam Bowser, the founder of MotoPGH, started the line because he couldn’t find any type of fashionable leather motorcycle gear for vintage riders. I can attest to that problem first hand. When looking for a leather jacket, there are two options; you can look like you stepped off the Moto GP circuit, or like you rolled out of a Lynard Skynard video, with tassels and an obscene amount of buttons and zippers. If that’s the case, you might as well grow a mullet, dust off your stone-washed jeans, and grab a Michelob.

Thankfully, for the sake of mankind, Bowser’s line has quite a few attractive, yet manly options for your moto-leather desires.

In an added twist of coolness, Bowser and his team also build custom cafe racers that range from $2,500-$4,500. So, you can look like James Dean in no time.

Moto Pgh has filled a void for the vintage market. More importantly, they’re joining the fight in the war against unsavory tassel usage coupled with copious amounts of zipper play.
