Extra Money for Role Players Needed for a Homeland Security Training ExerciseOctober 28, 2012
The Army National Guard and the Department of Homeland Security will be holding a huge mass casualty training exercise at Camp Ravenna Joint Military Training Center in Ohio the second week of November and are in dire need of your help!
I’ve never been a big fan of Ohio in general, but in this case, I’ll have to make an exception to help out the men and women in uniform. So, these government type folks are looking for people to role-play as victims for this huge training exercise that will run from November 6th-9th.
The role players are expected to be as realistic as possible, which will include having fake blood, burned skin, cuts, bruises, broken bone injuries, etc…applied to the participants to simulate horrific injuries sustained from multiple scenarios.
You’ll need to be as real as possible with the role-playing to scare the shit out of these soldiers to train them properly. You will be treated as a real life casualty down to the last detail. Expect to be carried and/or moved, treated, and spoke to as if you just survived a horrific mass casualty situation.
I know it’s tough to miss that $1.25 Coors Light Pounder drink special at Brewskis, and .35 cent wing night at Archie’s Place, but they need your help! If you chose to “do this for your country, because your country would want you to” (name the movie that quotes from you old ass), you will be compensated $9.00 per hour, with a minimum of 14 hours per day.
Simply put, if you work 8 hours, you still get paid for 14 hours. Not a bad deal for bitching, whining, and moaning like you do on Facebook, but in real life you really get paid for it!
Expectations from the Role Players:
• Participants will be required to wear old “cut-away” clothing, with tight-fitting swimming suits underneath. In case the first responders need to cut away clothing to apply medical attention to that area of injury, they don’t want you completely exposed. Like I said, these folks are putting these federal agencies to the test with making it as real as possible. So, if you’re a sissy, don’t apply!
• All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
• All applicants must be available: November 6, 2012 for orientation
and training. November 6-9, 2012 is when you will be needed for exercise participation.
