Hell week for any military branch is a test of will, strength, but more than anything, mental toughness. Cameras capture some eye-opening video during the Navy Seal training process.

New recruits will get a total of 4 hours sleep, and run about 200 miles in 5 days. It’s the ultimate test of will, team work, and the spirit of perseverance.

Most people can’t imagine running .5 miles in the heat, let alone being woken up at 4am by gunfire, a screaming drill sergeant, and running 10 miles. It would crumble the average person in half.

And that’s just the beginning. Recruits that survive hell week will continue on through an intense training and qualification process to see if they actually have what it takes to become one of the elite members of the Navy.

So, while you’re at Starbucks arguing with the barista because you asked for no foam, or tailgating, just remember, there ain’t nothing in this world tougher than a tough mutha.
