The 2012 Western Pennsylvania State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation Grappling Championships will be held on Saturday, October the 27th at 8:30 am. This year, the grappling championships will be held at the Keystone Oaks High School.
I’m not really a big fan of waking up at 8:30 am on a Saturday morning after a long and hard weekend of drinking like a Viking with the ladies of the South Side, but I wouldn’t miss this for anything.
The 2012 Western Pennsylvania State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation Grappling Championships offers grapplers of all ages the chance to compete. Not only does the competition offer Western Pennsylvania’s best grapplers the opportunity to show their skills, it also draws grapplers from the Midwest and up and down the East Coast to showcase their talents at the largest Jiu-Jitsu tournament in da Burgh.
OK, OK the real reason I’m going, the female grapplers! For a $5.00 entrance fee at the door, it gives you the opportunity to watch the ladies throw down and get their grappling on. Cheap thrill, absolutely, cost effective, you bet. I always creep it real with you folks!
